Users

A User represents a person in the real world who uses the Claims Gate platform. They use Claims Gate by completing funnels to sign up for a claim offered by a workspace on the platform.

An example action that a user might take is completing a Mercedes Diesel Emissions funnel which they found on a Facebook advertisement.

When the user has completed the funnel, the user is signed up for a claim and can be described as a claimant.

User Data

A user is made of personally identifiable information (PII), any data that could identify a specific individual.

The data points that are used to identify a user include:

• Title - The title of the User.
• First Name - The first name of the User.
• Middle Name - The middle name of the User.
• Last Name - The last name of the User.
• Address Line - The first line of the address where the User lives.
• City - The city where the User lives.
• Postcode - The postcode where the User lives.
• Phone Number - The phone number of the User.
• Email Address - The email address of the User.
• Consents - A list of consents that the User provided, such as the date when they consented to the Claims Gate privacy policy.
• Identity Verifications - A list of all identity verifications, such as a Proof of Identity check Claims Gate ran for the User.
